*HOT* Poise Money Maker Starting 2/24

by Christie on February 21, 2013

Poise Money Maker at CVSSome of you are going to see a nice money maker coming next week in your CVS ad next week (2/24)!

Some areas will feature an ECB deal for Poise Wash, Towelettes or Panty Fresheners. If your area has this deal you can actually make $1 buying these when you stack a Poise manufacturer’s coupon with a Poise CVS coupon. Woo Hoo! THIS link should take you straight to the coupon.

CVS Deals (2/24)
Buy (1) Poise Feminine wash or Towelettes $3.99
(1) $1.00 off 1 POISE Absorbent or Feminine Wellness
(1) $3.00 off 1 Poise Feminie Product (CVS Coupon)
= FREE, Get Back $1 Extrabucks
= $1 MONEY MAKER!

There’s also a $3/1 Poise Feminine Wellness Product in the 2/10 SmartSource, however that coupon was regional so not everyone got it. There’s also a chance that although this may not be in your ad, it could work. (This is CVS after all so you never know!) so print your coupons and be ready just in case.

I did this same deal on 02/14. I got 1 wash 7 oz & 1 towelettes 20 ct ($3.99 each, reg. price is $4.99)
Used (2) $3 CVS coupon + (2) $3 MQ. Make sure you have for $4.02 in other items for the overage. Everything will be free (excluding tax) πŸ™‚ …………. I got the Conair Rollers for $6.99 on clearance, paid $3.95 including tax got back $5 ECB !!!

Ann, even though the cashier may have taken both coupons, it doesn’t make it right. Just like when cashiers take coupons with other stores logos on them. Both are against CVS policy and shouldn’t be done …it’s not up to individual stores to disregard rules that have been made for a good reason. When they are accepted it hurts the company as whole and effects how they deal with coupons in the future πŸ™‚

Great deal Ann! While everyone sits and argues over the wording on the coupon I’m going to go do your deal!! As long as it’s just one CVS and one manu per item it’s all good.

The 1/1 coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon. Fine print people

When manufacturers coupons say something like that-it just means that they cannot be combined with any other manufacturers coupons(meaning you can’t use it with a BOGO man Q or try to use 2 man Q’s on the same item). It is OK to use a store coupon with it. I have called a few manufacturers myself and confirmed this.

that is what I was wondering about.. the cvs store coupon says Not to Be Combined with Any Other Coupon… I thought that meant another CVS store coupon, b/c that is what I was told by my store manager & the DM. But another board I read said the coupon policy says they take both store + manuf UNLESS prohibited by either coupon. So in this case, the stack is a n0-go b/c both say they can’t be combined. I’m really confused.

Usually when a manufacturer’s coupon states “cannot be combined with another coupon” it just means another manufacturer’s coupon. This has been added to prevent people from using a BOGO free coupon with an additional coupon on the product they are paying for which is not allowed (contrary to popular belief lol!).

Using a store coupon has nothing to do with the manufacturer as they don’t reimburse for store coupons.

Now if it’s the store coupon that states “cannot be combined with another coupon” then that’s another matter….I’m not sure on that one. I guess a call to corporate is in order πŸ™‚

Also the 3/1 cvs coupon is a limit of 1 per customer. It’s things like this that make us honest couponers look bad.

I haven’t checked this blog (or I Heart Wags either) for months. It used to be along my top 3 for couponing info. Then I suddenly noticed how many catty, holier-than-thou comments were being made, seeming, IMHO, to attack other posters who were trying to share their experiences.
Tonight, I thought I would see if anything had changed, but clearly it hasn’t. The same cyber-bullies are here, peeing all over everyone as though they are marking some invisible territory.
Brenda, saying that someone else is “making us honest couponers look bad” is equivalent to calling them dishonest. I will give you the benefit of doubt and believe that you are not accusing Ann of something dishonest. But I find your comments extremely rude and condescending. If they were not intended to be so, perhaps an adjustment to your wording is in order. Comments like yours are the reason I will never read this blog again.

I’m sorry you feel that way.

hmmmmmm …..I’m not sure, but if you use a coupon in a way it’s not supposed to be used and you do it on purpose….isn’t that being dishonest??? Not saying Ann did anything on purpose because I don’t know. BUT what I do know is that misuse of coupons is on the rise and it’s a lot harder to get really good deals like it was years ago when I first started couponing (I’ve been couponing for over 15 years). It’s a direct result of unethical couponing and if no one takes a stand and says “hey that’s not right” then most will just keep doing it. By not speaking up we’re essentially telling them it’s ok.

Thank you Jane. That’s all I was saying. But because I didn’t sugar coat it or beat around the bush, then I was attacked. I don’t adjust my wording in real life and will not adjust my wording on a coupon site. I’ve been couponing for many many years and yes it is becoming harder because of people misusing coupon.

Heads up but I think the towelettes stink. I actually got them for a relative for free a couple of weeks ago from Target with a coupon and she told me she cannot use them because they don’t have a “nice” smell to them at all. I have to agree after taking one from the package and smelling it. I wouldn’t use them. Guess you could always donate.
