I ended up with a pretty good scenario today. I don’t have a smartphone so I didn’t get to do any Ibotta offers.

I began with $7 ECB ($4 + $2 from last week, and then $1 ECB from quarterly rewards).

Bought:

(1) CVS Alcohol Pads ($2.37) – Had CVS Q for free pads
(1) Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash ($4.49, get back $2 ECB) – Had $1.50/1 MQ
(1) Oral-B 3D White Action toothbrush ($5.99, get back $2 ECB) – Had $3/1 MQ. They actually had a shopping scenario for this toothbrush on the shelf tag, YMMV.
(1) Clear Shampoo ($4.99) – Had CVS Q for free Clear
(1) Bach Rescue Pearls ($8.99, got back $8.99 ECB)
(Also picked up a few clearance hair items for $2.38 total – YMMV but there was a large selection on 75% clearance)
(2) Altoids Small ($1.49 BOGO) – Had $0.50/1 MQ. I had two MQs but couldn’t find one of them. I like to use the tins for pocket kits (sewing, firemaking) for my boys.
(2) Snickers ($1.19?/$0.25) – Had BOGO MQ that took off $1.10
(1) Garnier BB Cream ($12.99)

Coupons used:
$7 ECB
$4/$20 CVS Coupon
$4/$12 Cosmetics CVS Coupon (Coupon Center for Garnier BB Cream)
$2.37 Free Alcohol Pads coupon (printable)
$1.50/1 MQ for Crest Pro-Health Rinse (P&G 3/31)
$3/1 MQ for Oral-B toothbrush (P&G 3/31)
$2/1 MQ for Garnier moisturizer
$0.50/1 MQ for Altoids Small (Could have used 2 MQ but I didn’t have 2)
$1.10/1 (BOGO) MQ for Snickers
$4.99/1 CVS Q for Clear shampoo (Coupon Center)

Including the hair items, I paid $14.67 pre-tax and received $12.99 in ECB. Without the hair items and the Garnier I bought, I would have paid about $5.30 and received the $12.99 back in ECB (a gain of $7.69).

You also could have bought two Dawn Hand Renewal dish soaps at $0.99 apiece and used the P&G $1/2 coupon, but my CVS didn’t have them in stock.
