I’m always confused if the Savingstar will work on the actual shelf price or do I need to purchase $20 worth of stuff using the sale prices? Has anyone figured this out yet?

Hi Christie;

The new $1 purex coupon is printing with the publix logo, and says “redeemable at Publix” on the coupon. My CVS would not take it….the manager said that they did not get paid for the coupons when they said that. This manager is awesome and I’ve never had any issues with him, he goes out of his way to help me any time there is a problem. I didn’t argue more after explaining about the logo being advertising and that it was a MQ, not a Publix q. He just said that they didn’t get their money in this case. I called CVS customer service when I got home, the guy on the phone told me the same thing….it would only be paid to Publix.
Any other suggestions??????

There were (3) new Purex coupons. One had no logo (which is the direct link I used in the post) a send one had a Publix logo and the third one had I think Stop and Shop or something like that.

If you click on the link in this post – change your zip to the one I give and then click the link again it will pull up the one with NO logo. 🙂

As for the “store log controversy” – The reality of it is that it’s a manufacturer’s coupon and CVS WOULD get it’s money but they have a policy of not accepting coupons with other store logos. They are entitled to have whatever policy they would like – but it’s incorrect to say they wouldn’t get paid. The “redeem at” or “available at” is basically just advertising.
