*HOT* Money Maker on Neutrogena – No Coupons Needed!

by Christie on May 4, 2014

NeutrogenaThe Neutrogena ECB deal this week is even better than we thought! The single facial bars included for the Neutrogena buy (3) get $10 ECB deal, and you get a FREE Neutrogena tote bag when you buy (3). PLUS, the FREE tote bag is counting as an item for your next transaction! The limit on this deal is at least (2).

The free tote bag will ring up as $9.99 and then the $9.99 will be deducted automatically. Be sure that the tote bag is scanned so it can count towards your next deal. The tote bags were kept behind the counter at my store so you may have to ask for them. The price of the bars may vary slightly but they are $3.29 at my store.Β Β And be sure to check your CVS Coupon center coupons for any possible CVS coupons you can use on this deal to make it even sweeter. πŸ™‚

Hey Christie,

Do you know if this CVS coupon ($2 off $8 Body Wash, Bar Soap or Liquid Soap) is applicable to this deal? It is bar soap. Or would the bars be considered only facial care?

Thanks for all the hard work you do.

Hmm – that will really depend on the register. It is a bar soap so I would feel ok with asking my cashier to give it a try. πŸ™‚

I am confused on the second transaction> here we are buying only 2 items, do we still get the 10eb, when it should be if we buy 3 items?

Thanks

The FREE Tote that you get in transaction #1 is counting towards (1) in your next (3). So you only need (2) items to get an additional ECB.

The tote is counting for as one item needed to get the $10 ECB. So, you buy three soaps and one tote, which means you are buying 4 items toward the ECB. Since the limit appears to be more than one, you would only need two more items in order to get another $10 ECB. HTH!

The free item is counting towards your next transaction.

Here’s what I did:
First store:
2 bars ($3.19/1)
1 face scrub ($6.79)
1 tote
Used $6.00, $1.99 EB
Paid: $5.15, got $10 EB

Second store:
3 bars ($3.29/1)
1 tote
Used: $4 EB
Paid: $5.87, got $10 EB

Third store (didn’t get totes)
1 face wipes ($6.99)
3 cvs antacids ($1.49/1)
Used $10 EB from store 1
Paid $1.46, got $10, $4.47 EB

After adding up everything, minusing the EB I rolled, the EB I earned, I paid $0.03 for it all.

Plus I still have $39 EB to roll for later purchases πŸ™‚

I’m confused how you are doing a second transaction and getting (2) ECB’s. My newspaper says “offer limit of one per household per card”.. I bought the Right Guard Deodorant last week on two transactions…and an ECB didn’t print the second time. The cashier showed me on my receipt that I had already used it and it had a limit of one per card.

Just curious…I’ve just recently started shopping at CVS with ExtraCare card.

Sometimes the limits are different then what’s printed in the ad. This deal seems to be running in multiple ad weeks, so that’s my guess as to why the limit is higher for this particular deal.

Well I’m going to try it and see what prints on the bottom of my receipt… thanks!

I could not get out to the store yesterday so I stopped at several CVS stores on the way in to work. The system was still active as of 5 minutes ago and went exactly as everyone has posted
* the bag scans an item
* max is 6 deals for $60 in ECBs
thanks!!!!

Trying to get this right…….my receipt shows Quantity Needed to Earn Reward 3, so can I buy 2 of the bar soaps & 1 tote bag= 3, since the bag counts as an item……OR……do I have to buy 3 bar soaps & 1 tote bag to get the $10? Just confused now, & I don’t want to make a big ole boo boo at the checkout, TIA.

If they scan the tote you should just have to buy (2) more bars at this point. πŸ™‚

Jenni, you’ll have to buy 3 items plus the tote in the first transaction to get the free tote and the ECB because the tote is only free once you buy 3 items (so it doesn’t count towards the first 3), but in your second transaction you’ll only have to buy 2 more items to get the ECB because the tote is counting towards the ECB limit. Does that make sense? So basically, just follow what Christie outlined and you’ll be good πŸ™‚ I mixed and matched Neutrogena products because I had other coupons I wanted to use, but I followed the same number of items in each transaction as she has listed and it worked out just fine for me πŸ™‚ Hope that helps!

Wondering if this deal tracks..? My store was completely out first day. The cashier was nice enough to check 3 other CVS stores which were also completely out. One store store was in the negatives, whatever that means!

I might get a raincheck for this deal near the end of the week, but does anyone know if CVS is clearing shelf space or will they be restocking this particular item? Thanks!

I went to my CVS tonight…bought 3 products…got the tote and the $10 ECB…AND my receipt does show that I need two more items toward the next the next reward!! Guess there isn’t a limit of 1. πŸ™‚
