CVS Shopping Scenario 11/27!

CVS Shopping Scenarios

Here is my CVS Shopping Scenario for 11/27. In this scenario you’ll get $21.17 in merchandise and spend $3.99 out of pocket and keep $2 in ECBs, so it’s like you’re paying 99¢ for everything or 10¢ per item. If you have a large number of ECBs from earlier this week to roll, check the alternate scenario at the bottom of this page.

The Revlon Nail deal is limit 6; however, the CVS coupon limits you to one. But if you’d like you can roll your rewards into more nail products for $1.99 each.

Transaction #1
Buy (2) G·U·M Toothbrushes, $2 Sale Price
Total = $4
(1) $1/2 GUM Oral Care Products, exp. 11/30/14 (SS 10/05/14 R)
Total = $3, Get Back $4 ECB

Transaction #2
Buy (1) CVS AA or AAA alkaline batteries 4 pk $4.19
$4 ECB from Transaction #1
Total = 19¢, Get Back $4.19 ECB

Transaction #3
Buy (1) Viva Vantage choose-a-size single roll paper towel $1.99 Sale Price
Buy (1) Select Revlon nail color $4.99 Sale Price
Total = $6.98
(1) $2/1 Revlon Cosmetic (must watch video) printable
$4.19 ECB from Transaction #2
Total = 79¢, Get Back $3 ECB + $1.99 ECB

Transaction #4
Buy (1) Orbit gum 14 ct, $1 Sale Price
Buy (4) Progresso Soups, 18.5-19oz, 4/$5 Sale Price
Total = $6
(1) $1/4 Progresso products (excl. Pasta Bowl) (68130)
$3 ECB from Transaction #3
$1.99 ECB from Transaction #3
Total = 1¢, Get Back $1 ECB + $1 ECB

If you ended up with a lot of ECB’s, you may want to buy all the free items in one large transaction. Here it is below. Everything will be free with this one. The Hershey’s singles candy bar ECB deal was on since Sunday. If you did this deal once, you can do another. However the limit was two, but I suspect if you did TWO from Sunday thru Wednesday, you may not be able to buy again! In this scenario you’ll get $21.17 in merchandise and spend $3.99 out of pocket and keep $2 in ECBs, so it’s like you’re paying 99¢ for everything or 10¢ per item. In this scenario you’ll get $16.17 in merchandise and spend $13.17 out of pocket (or in ECBs if you’re rolling them) and keeping $14.18 ECBs, so it’s like you’re getting paid $1.01 to buy everything!

ALTERNATE SCENARIO (Starting 11/27)
Buy (1) CVS AA or AAA alkaline batteries 4 pk $4.19
Buy (2) G-U-M Supreme toothbrush, 2 ct, $2 Sale Price
Buy (1) Select Revlon nail color $4.99 Sale Price
Buy (1) Viva Vantage choose-a-size single roll paper towel $1.99 Sale Price
Buy (1) Orbit gum 14 ct,  $1 Sale Price
Total = $16.17
(1) $2/1 Revlon Cosmetic (must watch video) printable
(1) $1/2 GUM Oral Care Products, exp. 11/30/14 (SS 10/05/14 R)
Total = $13.17, Get Back $14.18 ECBs
$4.19 (CVS) + $4 (Gum) + $3 (Revlon) + $1.99 (Viva) + $1 (Orbit)
= EVERYTHING FREE!

Hi I’m new to couponing so I have a few questions to ask :). I have a lot of ecb from this week’s transactions so which upcoming scenario do you recommend for me to do? Because I feel like with the first scenario I can get more merchandise and for cheaper right? Please let me know :).

Hello? If you can reply that would be great.

If you have a lot of ECBs then I’d just combine scenarios – instead of having to do so many, just do one big one. 🙂

My ad says there is a limit of 1 of the gum toothbrushes to get the ECB

Yes – however, it appears the limit is actually two – YAY! See my post below to see more.

I got an awesome coupon — 5.00 off a 15.00 purchase! With the scenario I’m planning I should pay 7.19 and get back 13.00 in ECBs!

Just an fyi, the Hersheys reset. I bought 2 during the 4 day ad and it dropped from my receipt when I bought other stuff today. I didn’t go back in to buy one, so I’m not sure if the limit is going to be 1 or increase to 2.

Forgot to add that if you look at the offer numbers from both ads, they are different. That usually means reset.
