Money Making Skintimate at CVS!

by Christie on January 29, 2012

Check out this crazy deal at CVS, when you buy a Skintimate Gel for $3.59 or $3.89 it’s printing a $4 ECB! The tag is a monthly deal tag, not for a weekly deal. I don’t know if this is supposed to be this way or if the deal is going to change or what, but that’s the sign and that’s how it’s printing. I’d grab this one fast because I think store are going to be out of Skintimate pretty quickly!

***DEAL IDEA***
Buy (1) Skintimate Shave Gel $3.59
-(1) $.55/1 Skintimate Shave Gel Coupon :SS, 1/15/12 (Exp 2/26/12)
Total= $3.04, Get Back $4 ECB
= $.96 MONEY MAKER!

(Thanks Must Love Coupons for the awesome deal & the pic!)

I did this deal 12 times today… that $4 ECB was rolling like a river…. I also got the Lady Speed Stick…8 of them with the B1G1 Free coupon in today’s paper and got a $6 ECB back on that… and the Dawn Dish Soap (on sale for .99 cents and a .50 cents off coupon in today’s paper)…

This also works with the Men’s Schick sensitive skin (only sensitive skin) shave gel. My stores were doing it on allllll over the Skintimate shave gel, even the 10oz cans. I was able to do it at Three different stores so I didn’t wipe any out. The ladies were all very sweet about it and said it was a legit deal and they didn’t think it would change because people had been doing the deal all day and nobody at headquarters had sent out any messages. I would encourage you all to ask your ladies if they have any in the back. Mine all checked for me so I wouldn’t take to much and other people could get some!

Mine’s had plenty this morning, but had no tags. When I asked the cashier, they didn’t even know about this deal, so I was afraid to try it, but it did work!

I did this deal at 6 different stores since some were out – at (only) one store they had $2 off peelies on them (that expire tomorrow) so I got to use those, too!

Thanks for this great deal!!! I was able to grab one from the first cvs I stopped at, and a couple more at another cvs. I struggled with what do to with the overage as I used one $4.00 buck after the other. Just let the $.23 cents go, or buy something for $.88 and pay more oop? What do others do in this situation?

Same problem……..let the overage go??? Searched the store and ended up with a can of wet cat food for 59 cents! my nice cashier figured out to ring the ecb first THEN the man. coupon ….that way u pay less out of pocket since ecb wont cover any tax but man. coupon rings up that way.

Well apparently it was a mistake (no surprise there) and they figured it out :).
Corporate has instructed stores to take down the tags and the ECB no longer prints. Yesterday I bought 1 that worked fine, today I bought 2 more but they didn’t generate ECBs. As that particular store still had their tags up, the cashier took care of that :). Used the overage on the Dawn.
