I bought two of these @ 9.99 each and it printed out $20.00 ECB’s and my cashier ripped them up and said that there was an error and that all the stores were doing this transaction incorrectly. But “that it was still a great deal.” Mgr was right there and agreed. I called CVS extracard nmber and the rep said that it’s beacuse the $20.00 applied to the purchase. That didnt sound right. So happy for those of you that are able to take advantage of this great deal! 🙂

I just got back from getting two of these. Our younger daughter is going to be thrilled. She wants music, but I don’t quite trust her with an iPod yet. 😉 I was able to load the $20 back on to my existing CVS gift card that I had from all the other weekly CVS Cash promos. Less individual gift cards and only one balance to worry about makes me much happier.

Just came back from my CVS. I was told there was a corporate e-mail that went out for retraction on the price because it was ringing up incorrectly. But a woman had come in and bought the three they had earlier anyway. Bummer!
Hmmm, I don’t know what to say other than I seriously doubt that there would be an e-mail from corporate on a Sunday.

So disappointed 🙁 I just got back from my CVS after rushing there as soon as I had seen this post. They told me that Corporate had told them to pull them off the shelf bacause it was a glitch in the system…..dang the luck!

Thank you SO much for this heads up!! I got mine around 10 o’clock, there was 3 left, when I got the 2 for 9.99 plus the gift cards, my cashier RAN and got the last one. I was awesome lucky as I had a $3/$15 purchase coupon, and $13 ECB from buying pedicare and zyrtec this morning. So I spent $4 oop and got 2 MP3 players and 2 $10 cards =D My mom was SO excited when I told her she asked me to go with her to the other local CVS, where they were already gone 🙁 Another woman was at the store looking for them too. The store employees called around to all the other CVSs around my area, and they are already gonzo in most of Broward county FL.
I got one while I was there a few hours ago. The lady in front of me got two. I saw what happen and went and got the only one they had left.

The Indianapolis CVS’s were told to pull all the ones they had left on the shelves. They cannot sell them (even at the higher price) I was told. 🙁

Yay, scored 3 this am in Eastern MA. Take note one was in a bubble package marked 89.99 but rang up 9.99 with the $10 cash card! I was so excited to get these for my kids birthdays coming up in the next 2 months!
I was able to get 2 this morning (one more left on the shelf) When I was in line at the register I heard the manager talking the photo cashier about something and she said she thought they were already all sold. Not sure if it was the MP3 player or not. He hovered around the cashier for bit but lucky left right before it was my turn LOL I thought he was going to take them from me…paranoid much huh? I haven’t decided if I’ll give one to my son or put them both in my Toy donation bin for Christmas time.
I was able to get two. Luckily my CVS is awesome and very very coupon friendly. I wasn’t to sure about the deal however and wasn’t able to find them. I asked, they were behind the counter, when I scanned it and it showed $9.99…I was shocked. I picked up two, not in bubble wrap but in the original package and got $20 back. My CVS had 6+ in stock.

I just opened up one to try after reading some of the negative reviews..it actually works fine. It’s not Ipod quality but works great. I charged it for about 5 hours..did not use the disc included…just downloaded the songs from my computer straight to the mp3..very simple to use. My girls loved it 🙂 Hope that helps.

I have looked up reviews on these and they sounds horrible!!! Never mind. I guess its true…you get what you pay for. So off to the donation center they will go I think. I think thats why they are on sale…because of all the bad reviews.

I’m in Iowa (Central Time Zone) My husband just tried at a local store on his lunch break at 12:30 and they told him they fixed the deal and the lady upfront said the only reason why she knew they fixed it because someone tried to buy one a little bit ago this morning and it rang up at the right price that’s listed in the ad. Bummer!!!
I just got 2 in KC, MO. No issues! I just hope they work. I have read some negative comments/reviews about them. And the cashier kept saying keep your receipt just in case. 🙂
I just scored this deal in Norwood Ma. The cashier questioned it, but her manager scanned it and it came up 9.99, after the gift card, I paid .61 cents.
I got 2 this morning in South Florida…had to go to 4 different stores though! I found one that is in clear plastic bubble pack that had a $9.99 tag on it (its the one in the picture that is vertical and looks like a phone) and I got the other one a different CVS that was in a white box and is horizontal and looks like a GPS. Both rang up $9.99 and both gave me the $10 cash card. This was all around 11AM. The manager who rang me up at the second store even was like “wow I wish I had known, I would’ve picked one up.” So not really sure about this corporate email everyone is talking about…
My brother in law managed to get 6 at his CVS in west palm…he said his store still had 8 left as of 2pm! So if you live in the west Lake Worth, FL area check out your stores!

No, I started with $10 gift card, paid tax and then got another. Used that $10 gift card and paid tax and got $10. Just tax was OOP and still went home with my original $10 and 3 MP3 Players. Sweet. Thanks!

People have said not to use the disc that comes with it. Just drag your into it. Hope that helps.
I went to 2 stores in Long Island, New York and was sold out. They did give me a rain check for $9.99 but no $10.00 gift card. I spoke to the manager of the store, she said that corporate change the price to 9.99 on the MP3 player. If the store give you a hard time, tell them to call corporate office and they should change the price for you.
I was gonna pick it up this morning before class but I didn’t want to be late for the test so I decided to hold off and go after school. I was shocked to see 4 behind the glass shelf. I took 2 and told the employee the deal and she got herself one too! While it is an awesome deal, I’d have to say the quality of the item is very poor. The plastic screen was peeling off on one side. Oh well, I gave one to my bf to play with and 1 will be for charity. =D
Underneath that sticker with pictures is a clear screen protector…you’re supposed to peel that off too!

i went to two cvs this afternoon around 6 pm i live in southern california and both managers told me they got an email saying to adjust the price to 49.99 even tho they were scaning at 9.99 should i call coorporate ? i mean i just heard so many different stories i hope u can help
My mom’s in S.Ca. and when she went to one store on sunday night, the cashier first rung it up normal (9.99), then my mom asked for a second one because it was limit 2, so the cashier looks, and looks and looks, then modifies the price to 49.99, my mom says no thanks. She went to a second store and it rings up 9.99, receipt prints, then the cashier rips off the $10 cash card coupon and doesn’t give it to her. Said something about they got an email from corporate. I’m thinking yeah right, corporate issued an email on a Sunday afternoon?! I find that hard to believe. I think the cashier just stole my moms cash card. I will be contacting corporate on her behalf today (mom doesn’t feel confident in the english department).

I did. Had to call them twice. The first lady was real nice. Said that she would call the store and have them issue a $10 cash card and when it was ready, call ME back, so i can have my mom just go in a pick it up. Well, i never got that call. So i called back and this lady started giving me the runaround saying that they would need to speak with my mom directly, blah blah blah (what part of No english didn’t she understand?). Anyways, after a while, she said she could issue a $10 ecb that would print at the register for her in two business days. We shall see.
These mp3 players were near the checkout at my CVS in Oklahoma in a tub of some sort and the price $9.99 was marked on it . I was able to buy two. Manager said the sale was a good way to clear out inventory.
I just called a store (MS) to see if the price has been adjusted. Cashier said it was ringing up for 39.99 and that’s a $10 difference from the advertised sale price. Should I still try it? I really wanted it for FREE but I’m afraid it’s too late 🙁
