CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara As Low as $0.99!

by Christie on June 4, 2012

Some of you CVS shoppers are reporting a $4 off $12 Cosmetics Purchase coupon printing from the CVS Coupon Machine this week which means if you receive it as well you can pick up some CoverGirl Mascara at a really great price when you also use the B1G1 FREE coupon from the 6/3 P&G Insert. These are $8.99 at my store but your price may vary…

Now, normally, the lower price item is free (so the one that’s 50% off), so that would look like this…

CVS Deal
Buy (2) CoverGirl Lash Blast Waterproof Volume Mascara B1 @ $8.99 G1 50% Off
B1G1 CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara (P&G 06/03/12) (Takes off 50 % off item)
$4 off $12 Cosmetics Purchase from the CVS Coupon Center
TOTAL = $2.50 each when you buy 2!

However, for some of you the coupon is automatically deducting $7.50 (which is the most the FREE mascara can be redeemed for). In that case you’ll receive the following deal…

Buy (2) CoverGirl Lash Blast Waterproof Volume Mascara B1 @ $8.99 G1 50% Off
B1G1 CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara (P&G 06/03/12) (Takes off $7.50)
$4 off $12 Cosmetics Purchase from the CVS Coupon Center
TOTAL = $.99 each when you buy 2!

There are so many ways to use your $4/$12 CVS coupon so if you come across any other great deals while you’re out shopping then come back and tell us about it!

I went to CVS yesterday and got that $4 coupon from the machine. I used it to purchase the covergirl olay foundation. I also used 2 of the $1/1 coupons from the newspaper. The foundation was $15.29, and the second one was 50% off. My total before coupons was about $23. After coupons, $17. I will submit for the latest mail in rebate when you buy $20 of olay covergirl participating products you get $10. So, $7 after rebate. That’s not the end, though. As a beauty club member you get $5 eb for every $50 beauty purchase you make. So, that’s like 10%. So, after considering the beauty club, too, it’s under $5 for two bottles of foundation. I thought this was an awesome buy. 🙂

I bought an eyeliner from Physician Formula $11.29 and a Wet & Wild lipliner $0.99. Used $1/1 for Physicians Formula, $1/1 for Wet & wild and $4/12 CVS coupon. Paid $6.29. Got back $5 ECB. It’s like paying $1.29 for two items.

Thanks for the idea Pamela. I didn’t think to add a wet and wild product to bump me over the $12.

This was last Saturday, but Physician’s Formula is still an ECB deal this week. I had both a $4 off $20 and a 20% off to stack. The Physician’s formula was $19.29 so I get a wet and wild nail polish for 99cents to take me over $20. But for some reason, the moisturizer was ringing up at $4.82 (not even the $15 ECB deducted price, who knows) The manager couldn’t figure out why. So, they rang it at $4.82. I had the $1 off wet and wild coupon and a few ECB’s from last week. I paid 36 cents. They gave me the $15 ECBs too!

I was wondering why the $1 off coupon was mentioned, as far as I know at CVS you can use a coupon on a Free item too.

Just got back from CVS and it was a very disappointing trip. It is really annoying to watch the managers not know their store policy. I was told I can’t use the $4/12 coupon and the BOGO, it is one or the other, and I did not have the CVS coupon policy on hand to show them that they are so wrong. I did not even argue the $1 coupon on the Free item, that was going to be a whole other discussion that I had no proof for. I want to go back with the coupon policy, but I am sure they will question the wording and tell me that I am wrong.
