I just did this deal. My store only carried 3 of the 2.5 oz for 3.59 so i bought 1 of the 8 oz for 7.49 this is how i did.
Use (2) $3/2
4 ecb
Used cvs 25% off
Total was 9.89 cashier asks me if i want to use my 25% coupon from email brings it down to 5.09
Got back $15 ecb 🙂
ok i’m new to this and i’m wondering what the $3/2 means. and also what is ecb ? i’d like to do it but i’m not quite sure how .
$3/2 means the coupon is for $3 off two items.
ECB is Extra Care Bucks issued by CVS
My $3/2 coupon states “ONE coupon per person, per day”, so you can not use two of these coupons in the same transaction.
That’s weird, I am reading my coupon and it says: “Limit one coupon per person. No more than 4 coupons (of any kind) for the same product in the same transaction.”
Me too Deborah, so weird. LOL
Seth – sorry your coupon says that. So for you, use a $3/2 and a $1/1 if you have it. It’s an awesome deal even without coupons, so… enjoy! 🙂
Deborah, my interpretation of this is that if you were to buy 4 identical Aveeno products, you can only use one $3/2 coupon and up to three OTHER Aveeno coupons.
All out when I made it to CVS, guess that means it was working! Thanks for the heads up, next time I’ll get ’em 😀
Get a raincheck! These coupons are good until the end of the year:)
i wish i had thought of that wen i was in there !!!! lol thanks for the reminder
Rain checks at CVS don’t give you the Bucks back according to what I was told.
But I did the Aveeno deal this way. Bought two face washing pads for $8.49, and two three piece Xmas gift packs (with a wash a lotion and scrubber) for $9.99 each. Use two $3/2 coupons. Also had my 20% off coupon, which only works on non-promo products, so it took 20% off the gift packs. (My clerk thought they wouldn’t be included in the bucks back deal. I told her to ring it throw, and yes it worked, so any Aveeno product give you credits.) So all said and done, it wasn’t free, but I got great things. $37.00 – $6.00 (coupons) – $15.00 (extra bucks back)- $4.00 (from 20%) = $12.00 (for a lot of items, including the two xmas packs…cool). Someone else stopped by at the time I was there to pick up four bars of Aveeno soap, for $3.49 each. These are also included in the deal so you can get four for FREE…$3.49 x 4 = $14.96 and you get back $15.00 Extra Bucks. You can’t use coupons as they exclude bar soap, but 20% off may work on the soap. There was only three at the store I was at, so they passed on the deal, but something to watch friends in couponing. Does anyone know if the Aveeno baby products work for this deal??
My spelling is awful…Sorry…Meant to say “Ring it through”.
Worked for me!
Thank you!! what a great deal!
I think most of the CVS’ in my area are either sold out on this 2.5oz size or they have been pulled off the shelves. I’ve heard both happening. Although I am curious if anyone has tried getting the trial size just to see if it works?
just back from getting mine…my store only has 3 of the smaller one..so i get another body bath. need to pay abit but we love aveeno…this is awesome deal..thanks!
See my comment above, but wanted to ask separately if the Aveeno baby products are working, cuz some of this is great. And I love the Johnson and Johnson wipes in a yellow packet. They are currently Buy 1/Get 1 50% off (or Free..can’t remember) and I used to $.75 off coupons. They smell so good, not babyish. They are $3.49 each.
Is this deal still working? TIA
