my $1 manuf coupon is for the 1L and 500mL is the size on sale.

The $1 MQ is for 1L and it is the 500mL that is on sale, however, my cashier still let me use it. Also, I’m having a ton of issues with Ibotta accepting my receipt and purchases today so make sure you keep trying with them, especially if you know you are right!

Funny how they advertise it in the ad and not everyone got a coupon good for the 500ml size. I’m sure that’s why they accepted it. 🙂

Just because the cashier will let you use it, doesn’t mean that you should. It’s no wonder why coupon policies have gotten so strict.

If they allow you to use it, they eat the $1.00 because they don’t get reimbursed for it since the coupon is for 1-liter and a 500 mL was bought. Manufacturer’s won’t reimburse for something that wasn’t bought. They may be just planning on doing that because they are the ones that advertised incorrectly.

That is what the cashier said the manager told her to do. I know coupon policies and wouldn’t purposedly “rip off” the manufacturer. I knew it wasn’t technically allowed but when she saw it in my stack of coupons, she mentioned that I could still use it.

Make sure to check that you have this offer on ibotta. Not everyone has the same offers. This is nowhere to be found on my app.

If you delete click on offers that don’t interest you and give them a thumbs down, Ibotta will typically remove them and replenish them with different offers within 24 hours.

All the coupon previews I saw had the Listerine coupon good on the 1 liter. I don’t think anyone got a coupon for the 500mL. I think CVS made a mistake…they have in the past.

As for ibotta…I’m not believing any posts until I actually see it on my phone…too many times I don’t have the coupon needed for the deal 🙁

Try shopkick, it’s one of those “scan for points” apps and is valid in CVS and I’ve earned points just from going through the store and scanning stuff while I shop and cashed out for a CVS giftcard.

offers seem to vary. I did not have the Listerine either last wk when Christie mentioned it on WildforWags. But like Tiffani said, I went through and thumbed down some stuff, the next morning new offers popped up including the Listerine! So I was able to do the deal at Wags last Sat, submitted my receipt & UPC to ibotta, got approved and they sent me -another- $1.25 Listerine offer!

Can you use the cvs kiosk coupon and a manufacturer on a single item?

Reply

Kay January 8, 2013 at 5:01 pm

Yes, one cvs coupon and one mfr coupon per item.

Renee January 8, 2013 at 5:01 pm

Yes, Brandi. You can use a CVS coupon with a manufacturer Q on a single item.

not sure what my cvs cashier did, but there was one more coupon on my receipt than what I handed her! She did at one point void and start over, I did not see what the register printed, but she has in the past taken the coupons that may have come out during a void and applied them.

I was able to buy (2) ricola, (1) listerine and hydrosilk razor blades for $8.06 (I had a $8 cvs coupon for the razor blades and a $5 ecb from a previous purchase as well as the cvs deal of the day and the ricola and listerine ss coupons)
