Here is my CVS Shopping Scenario for 1/26. In this scenario you’ll get $6.98 in merchandise and spend $2.98 total out of pocket and end with $2.25 ECB, so you are really paying 73¢ for everything.
The limit is 2 for the Crest and the Colgate, so if you’d like, you can do Transaction #1 twice, then Transaction #2 twice to roll your ECBs.
Transaction #1
Buy (1) Colgate Total 4-4.2 oz $2.99
(1) $1.00 on any Colgate Total, Optic White, Max Fresh, or Sensitive Toothpaste (3.5 oz+)
Total = $1.99, Get Back $2 ECB
Transaction #2:
Buy (1) Crest Tartar Protection, 16.9-33.8 oz, $3.99 Sale Price
(1) $1.00 OFF ONE Crest® Pro-Health or Crest® 3D Whitening Rinse 458mL or Larger (ETS) (zip 77477)
$2 ECB from Transaction #1
Total = 99¢, Get Back $2.25 ECB
YOU END UP WITH $2.25 ECB FOR NEXT WEEK!

hi i have a question…..i just really started going to cvs lately but my question is if i got the 2 colgate toothpaste today since the limit is 2….can i go back tomorrow and get 2 more along with getting the ECB for it? or is it a 2 limit for the whole sale time ? thanks
If it says a limit in the ad, it means per week per Extracare card =)
Yes you can only get on what the limit says on the whole weeks sale items. It will show on the bottom of your receipt saying “offer limit reached”!
I went to CVS and got the Colgate total whitening paste (4.2oz) on clearance for $1.64 that also gave me the $2 extra bucks! The cashier was so nice, we tried the transaction and it works because the whitening gel is the $2.99 Yay, got it for moneymaker of $1.36.
Christine – if I have a $2 off $10 toothpaste, toothbrush…ECB coupon, I can use it here, right?
