Last week when I tried this deal, the register kicked out the 3rd coupon. The way the sale price is programmed, the 3rd soup rings up for $.25, and therefore, the 3rd $.75 coupon was rejected. I hope there is a workaround, but just a heads up.
If you are doing the Progresso Soup deal with the .75 Coupons.COM printables, the 3rd printable will beep if the CVS extra card is scanned first when starting a transaction.
Once again CVS register programming is not correct.
3 cans for $4.00, they come up as $1.66, $1.66, & .67 if the CVS extra card is scanned first.
Have the cashier scan the cans first, then the card, then the coupons.
They will scan at full price, & then the coupons go through fine & then the discounts come off.
So it will be 3 x .25 cents = .75 cents + tax ( if your state charges tax on food) for all 3 cans total.
I’m thinking cashiers need to scan the card after all items have been scanned for any transaction.
It will save a lot of beeps.
I hate telling people how to do their jobs, & I’m guessing cashiers are told to always scan the card first, & if a coupon beeps don’t accept it.
Good luck everyone,
