CVS Coupon Center – Week Ending 1/23/21

by Christie- on January 20, 2021

Christie scanning card

Ok so this week my friends and I received NO coupons. Now this happened before however my friends were always getting coupons even while I was getting none. This I figured was that they would visit the store once a week and occasionally missed a week here and there while I would go at least twice a week and sometimes three.  However a little over a year ago I started getting lots of coupons, and now no more 🙁 . Do leave a comment with how many coupons and which coupons you received!

Specific Product Coupons
$2/1 Select Dove Washes, Polish, Bar Soaps or Men+Care Wash
$5/2 Select Colgate Optic white, 2in1, Max or Total toothpastes
$5/1 Revlon Cosmetics

I only got 3 crts total. The first two were the same as yours, but my revlon was $5/$20 instead of $5. No crts (besides advertised in ad) last week either…

Last week and this week I got 2 coupons after years of getting at least 20 a week! I got $3/$18 L’Oreal cosmetics/facial care; $1/2 Fructis shampoo; $10/$25 Revlon cosmetics; $2 off Dove wash or soap. I posted on CVS facebook page but got no answer explaining why.

Again zero this week. Everything has just dried up for me.

If your coupons are drying up, then your account was put into a marketing control group. They want to see how regular shoppers respond to offers. So they usually hold out 10% to %50 of customers in a control group to receive little or NO coupons. Then they can gauge how much extra revenue the offers bring in sales vs the cost of the offer. I highly suggest open up a new CVS # and keep your old account activate as well, because eventually you will be removed from the control group & it will be back to normal. CVS Marketing Operations & their Decision Management group tweek offers to try & get you to customers as a whole to spend more. You will be segmented into marketing groups & will get more offers targeted to your past purchases. They are very good at what they do. They also keep track of what credit & debit cards are used for purchases and returns as well. So it you don’t want that tracked, use gift cards or cash.
