Well well well I guess that fragrance deal was just too good to be true. CVS has gone back on their written word and changed the sale to NO extra bucks and only 25% off. For those of you that got your fragrances in-store, congratulations. I hope you spent your $10 ECB right away. Who knows maybe they will deactivate them as well. I ordered mine online because I was actually going for a little more expensive one since it was a really good deal, and I knew it was not in stock at my store. I placed it on Sunday like at 5 am. They left me hanging for two days reading that it was “on backorder” then finally cancelled it yesterday. I go today to see if for some reason my choice of fragrance is back in stock, and it’s now only 25% off, still out of stock, and no extra bucks. Then I check the ad, and I see this above. UGH! I’m sure there is fine print some where to say they have the right to blah blah blah. I remember there was a Starbucks coffee “error” seven or eight years ago. They had a little prepared statement to read. Its still awful and might I say not in the holiday spirit. For those of you that have time, you can call to complain 1-800-679-9691. If you had a disappointing online order as well, please vent below.
