CVS Updated Coupon Policy = GREAT NEWS!

by Christie on February 7, 2012

I have some great news for everyone! If you are at a store that has not been accepting (2) coupons on a B1G1 FREE sale, that will no longer be the case!

CVS has updated their coupon policy to allow (2) coupons on a B1G1 FREE sale and has clarified the policy on using a B1G1 FREE coupon on a B1G1 FREE sale.

“Buy One, Get One Free Coupons Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offer, if required by applicable state laws. Two coupons may be used on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion as long as it does not exceed the item total”

My stores have always allowed (2) coupons on a B1G1 but I know many of you run into this issue at your stores, but no longer! 🙂 You can go HERE to see the new policy. I suggest you print it and bring it with you when you shop.

(Thanks a ton Eric for the heads up!)

what if there was a BOGO sale for a $2.99 item.
and i had 2 coupons for $2 off that item.
will i get an overage?will they change the value of the coupon?or can i only use 1 coupon in this example?

thanks!

How about this: I just got back from CVS. Used the coupon ‘Free Gallon of Milk when you buy any 3 breakfast items’ from the milk fb page. They accepted that coupon but not my 2 coupons for cheerios. They said that they can’t accept coupons on items that are a part of another coupon. I had to pay the full sale price on the breakfast items! Am I wrong or is this a little nuts? I bought 3 additional products, paid for them and I should be able to use coupons on them! CVS is gonna hear about this!
