Can’t you combine the CVS Q and the MQ and make this a money maker WYB 2 bars?
shouldn’t it be buy 4 @ $2.00, use (2) .75/2 IPs + (1) $1/2 CVS scanner q = -.50 overage (or more if you happen to have another $1/2 cvs scanner q)?
You can’t use another coupon when one coupon makes the item free. CVS does not give overage. According to their coupon policy a store coupon and a many=ufacturer’s coupon can only be used together when the coupons DO NOT exceed the purchase price 🙂
The only time you can get overage at CVS is when the overage comes as a result of getting ECB 🙂
Another coupon today!! Bought 2 Milky Way, a Twix, and a snickers and paid $.25! And thanks for pointing out the Nabisco deal, got two this morning!

I used the CVS $1/2 with a $.75/2 milky way coupon yesterday and did indeed get the overage. They will not give cash back, but it can reduce your total when you are buying other items.
I bought the 2 candy bars and 1 revlon nail polish for $4.99. Used the coupons for the candy bar, a $1/1 Revlon coupon and a $3 ECB from the Starbucks refreshers deal. Paid $.24 before taxes.
However, I actually just came on here to report that I was in a hurry when I was in the store and not really thinking about what coupons I had. I grabbed 2 Snickers bars instead of 2 Milky Ways. The $.75/2 Milky Way Brand coupon worked without a beep. I didn’t realize what I had done until I was driving away. YMMV but I really do prefer the peanut butter snickers over milky way, so I shall try that again 🙂
I don’t want to be rude, but it’s not right to purposely misuse coupons. ‘Coupon abuse’ I’ll call it is the reason stores have started cracking down so hard and I’m sure why manufacturer’s are releasing much lower value coupons than they used to. If it was honestly a mistake the first time we all make mistakes but don’t abuse the system just because you can. You’re only going to ruin everyone else’s opportunity to use coupons and for some it’s the only way they can afford things.
