Wow , awesome trip. I wish I would get a CVS $4/20 coupon every now and then. Seems like I never get them anymore. Only the % off coupons that aren’t good towards sale or clearance items. Bummer!

Actually, the % don’t work on sales items, but for some reason, they do work on clearance.

With a start of $3 ECB’s (having made money of Revlon makeup last week) I got 2 covergirl powders ($3 manf), 2 venus razors ($3 manf. plus B1G1 FREE manf), 3 boxes of Puffs with lotion ($0.25/3 manf), 1 bag of Stayfree pads ($2 manf.), 2 bottles of dawn ($0.25 & $0.50 manf.), and a Vo5 shampoo for right at $1.00 (including tax. ). Was a great surprise to get beauty club bucks and a $1 ECB for Green tag use. I made 2 purchases and left with $5ECB (Total includes calculating the remaining ECB as part of the purchase) . Total retail was $45.74

To be more exact, I had $3 ECB walking in, spent $2.98 total cash and left with $5 ECB & the above. Not so great with the math part!

Denise could have gotten all for free if she had bought 1 man’s gillette razor and 1 woman’s gillette razor and use the bogo gillette coupon and $3 off gillette coupon from this week, pay a little bit and get back 2 $5 ebbs, one for man’s and one for woman’s razor.

So she could have used a BOGO and a $3.00 coupon in the same transaction?

I had an awesome trip myself –

2 bags of Gevalia – $11.98 less bogo IP which took off $6.98
2 Hershey Simple Pleasures – $6 less (2) $2 off insert q’s
1 zzzquil – $4.99 less $3 zzzquil that I got in the mail from vocal point
2 M&Ms singles – $1.98 less .50/2 tearpad coupon I found a while back
2 Dawn Hand Renewal – $1.98 less $1.50 for (2) .75/1 insert q’s
1 Nature Made Fish Oil – $19.99 less $2 IP from coupons.com
subtotal – $46.92
less $4/20, $17.98 in q’s & $20 in previous ECBs I paid a little over $6 with tax for everything!

ZzzQuil $4.99 x2 = $9.98
Children’s Dimetapp $4.99 x2 = $9.98
Finesse $2.99
Olay Daily Facials Toner $3.89
Olay Body-wash $6.79
Pepsi 2L $0.99

Total Before Coupons = $34.62

-(2) $2.00 ZzzQuil (MQ)
-(2) $2.00 Dimetapp (MQ)
-(1) $5.99 Bogo Olay (MQ)
= $20.63

– $20 in extra-bucks

= $0.63 + $0.63 tax = $1.26

got back $4 for ZzzQuil, $4 for Dimetapp, $2 for Finesse, $2 Olay and $1 green bag tag = $13

So accounting for the extra-bucks I “lost” ($20 ecb spent – $13 ecb earned = -$7), I spent $8.26 for $42.50 (before sale prices) worth! Plus this transaction got me within a $1 of getting my next beauty club reward.

Paid $6.19 for everything w/ tax
