Venus Razor $1.29 After Extrabucks at CVS

by Christie on February 5, 2013

Cheap Razors at CVSThe single Venus razor is included in the Extrabucks deal this week. I was happy to see that but wow, was I not happy to see how much they raised the price! It used to be $5.99, talk about a jump.

Doesn’t it blow your mind to think that there are actually people out there paying $7.29 for a razor?! Gives me the shivers! 🙂

Back to the deal… you can still get a nice on these although not free if the price went up at your store too.

CVS Deals (thru 2/9)
Buy (1) Single Venus Refillable Razor System $7.29
$2/1 Venus System Razor, exp. 2/28/13 (P&G 01/27/13)
Total = $5.29, Get Back $4 ECB
= $1.29 EACH

You have been lucky. They were never $5.99 in Birmingham. They have always been $6.99 and they are still holding at that price.

I tried using the Gillette B1G1 coupon with the Venus razor. My cashier refused saying that the coupon is only for multipacks. She said it isn’t in the picture on the coupon so I can’t use it. Another cashier came over and agreed with her. I got so frustrated and angry. Called the corporate office and they called the store and now they will accept it. So much drama over a silly razor. 🙂

What gives me the shivers is when you see someone with a full basket or half of a cart load without a CVS card and no coupons. People have no idea how much money they can save. Thank you for all of your great deals!!!

I know right? And then you see someone who has a full cart, no extra care card, no coupons, and then refuses the e-mail with the extra bonus. The sad thing is to think I used to do the same thing. WOW. What a dummy I used to be.

I just bought the Venus Breeze single razor and it rang up 1.99 and I used a 2.00 off coupon plus I got my 4 ecb.

My rite aid and CVS won’t use coupons that are over the amount of the product. For example—ASMA’s comment above. if the coupon was more than 1.99 off they won’t process it….What do I say or do…? any advice or what is their policy in simple lady’s terms?

The cashier was nice and she adjusted my coupon down to 1.99.
