Watch out for some of these not working in the deal in Asheboro, NC at the Eat Dixie Drive location. All of the different varieties of Pantene in the sizes for this deal had 2 tags in my store, a 2/$8 and a tag that says 3/$12 and spend $30 and get 10 ECB. But after I spent $30 on Pantene and other items my receipt said I was $8 away from the reward. My cashier called her supervisor over and explained that everything I bought is in the ad as part of the deal, but my ECB didn’t print. Instead of checking the shelf tags to check that I was right and pushing it through, which was too much effort for the lady who couldn’t be bothered to wear actual shoes and wore flip flops to work, she said it was because some of the conditioners I bought were ringing up at 2 for $8 instead of 3 for $12 and I would have to return them and get different conditioners. I don’t think she realized they were actually the same price! But I bought the shampoo counterparts of the conditioners and they rang up fine, which they didn’t find odd, and if they did they didn’t care. So instead of just checking to see if maybe the store needed to reprice the items I had to rush and grab conditioners that didn’t match my shampoos and exchange it, which took another 5 minutes because my cashier said that these were showing up like the other ones on her screen, but they weren’t on the card swipe screen I was looking at, and she was hesitant to finish the transaction. I said let’s just check and see and sure enough I was right and the ECB printed. Crappy experience that took away from the fact that I saved more than 75% and got closer to my Beauty rewards goal!
