Last week I got an awesome coupon for $5/$25 coupon in my phone app. This is only my second dollars off coupon that is usable online, and that’s how I used it. I found out a couple of things…
- It worked before all ECBs BUT only ECBs which were equal to or LESS than the value of the coupon. In this instance it was $5. So I was able to use my $4 ECB, my $3 ECBs, my $5 ECBs BUT not my $6 ECB or my $7 ECB. Last time I had issues with the $10 ECB and that coupon was $6/$30, and I suspect it was the same reason.
- Secondly I WAS able to grab a threshold deal with the $6/$30 coupon did NOT diminish the threshold of the products purchased. This is NOT the case online when you use for example a $3/$9 Wet ‘n Wild Coupon in a $6 ECB WYB $12 ECB deal. That coupon will diminish the amount you have bought worth of Wet ‘n Wild and you won’t get the ECBs. So these coupons are the ones that are applied manually like the ECBs not the ones that come off automatically when you add enough products into your cart. SO , I suspect that the $15/$75 coupon may work the same way.
