CVS Carepass – Earn $10 Promo Reward Every Month!

by Christie- on August 16, 2019

UPDATE: The First month free offer was set to end in August.

Have you joined Carepass yet? It’s an add on fee membership to your existing Extra Care account. It’s $5 per month, but every month you’ll earn a $10 Careprass promotional reward. You must sign up with a card to authorize a recurring charge, but your first month is FREE. If you sign up today, you won’t be charged until one month from now. You must cancel three days in advance to avoid the recurring charge. With this membership you’ll get several benefits, but keep in mind that to all these benefits there are exceptions: free 1-2 day sipping with no minimum purchase required, free 1-2 day RX delivery on qualifying prescriptions but this will depend on your insurance plan, and a 24/7 pharmacist help lime which will depend on your location for availability. There is also a 20% off CVS  Health Brand products (not all CVS brands, just CVS Health), but keep in mind this will exclude items that are on sale.

Instead of a recurring charge, you can opt to prepay for a year at $48. You’ll receive your reward monthly. It doesn’t print for you it’s loaded on to your card. If you want to use it in-store, you can use without meeting the $10 amount but you’ll LOSE all remaining balance. If you want to use it online, you must meet the $10 threshold. Free delivery is helpful if you’re looking to take advantage of an ECB offer on cosmetics for example. If you have no coupons for a specific brand but there is an ECB Deal and you don’t find your choice of item in-store. You can order and get free delivery and earn your ECBs. Read more about shopping on line and earning ECBs in my previous post HERE. There is also an option to add items to your Rx delivery, but these cannot be paid with ECBs or earn ECBs. Check it out HERE.

Hello! How do you get the first month free? No matter what I do, it’s asking me to authorize $5 today. Thank you!

Hi Lauran, I signed up in store and I had to stick my card for an authorization but it was $0. Maybe you have to sign up in store to get the first month free.
