CVS Carepass Membership Update!

by Christie- on November 19, 2019

UPDATE: Go HERE to read my post about cancelling your Carepass Membership.

Have you joined Carepass yet? Whether you have or have not, be sure to check out this post, as there has been a recent change in the membership benefits. It’s an add on fee membership to your existing Extra Care account. It’s $5 per month, but every month you’ll earn a $10 Careprass promotional reward.  You must cancel three days in advance to avoid the recurring charge. With this membership you’ll get several benefits, but keep in mind that to all these benefits there are exceptions. The free shipping benefit has been CHANGED. There is still no minimum for free 1-2 day shipping  AS LONG AS YOU ADD AT LEAST ONE ShipsFreeWith CarePass Eligible item to your order. Several items that we’ve recently enjoyed free shipping on like the cheaper Nyx Cosmetics or large Scope Rinse no longer qualify on their own.  I also noticed that some other items like the small Scope Rinse or Smaller Colgate Rinse are deemed ONLY IN STORES items, so you can’t order them to ship to your home.

Look for the ShipsFreeWith CarePass batch in the item page below the price Check store availability button.

You’ll also get free 1-2 day RX delivery on qualifying prescriptions but this will depend on your insurance plan, and a 24/7 pharmacist help lime which will depend on your location for availability. There is also a 20% off CVS  Health Brand products (not all CVS brands, just CVS Health), but keep in mind this will exclude items that are on sale.

Instead of a recurring charge, you can opt to prepay for a year at $48. You’ll receive your reward monthly. It doesn’t print for you it’s loaded on to your card. If you want to use it in-store, you can use without meeting the $10 amount but you’ll LOSE all remaining balance. If you want to use it online, you must meet the $10 threshold. Free delivery is helpful if you’re looking to take advantage of an ECB offer on cosmetics for example. If you have no coupons for a specific brand but there is an ECB Deal and you don’t find your choice of item in-store. Keep in mind that you will only need 1 ShipsFreeWith CarePass eligible item, and then you can order these other things and still get free shipping. You can order and get free delivery and earn your ECBs. Read more about shopping on line and earning ECBs in my previous post HERE. There is also an option to add items to your Rx delivery, but these cannot be paid with ECBs or earn ECBs. Check it out HERE. Go HERE to read my post about cancelling your Carepass Membership.

Please remember, I am not CVS nor am I affiliated with CVS. If you wish to cancel your Carepass or purchase a Carepass, please reach out to them directly!

I have tried calling, searching the web, and the carepass cancel site and have found nothing that mentions canceling it. I am about to write to the CEO of CVS. I have never had so much difficulty with anything in my life!

Hi, Kathy. This site is not affiliated with CVS. It posts deals at CVS. Have you tried https://www.cvs.com/carepass/cancelSubscription? You have to be logged into your account to see this page.

I have also tried to cancel this and could not reach anyone by phone or cannot find anything on website to cancel.
I called my local CVS store and told them the problem. She made a phone call and took all my information and
I was told this has been cancelled and they would send me an email telling me this.
I did receive an email and my membership has been cancelled.
On the email is shows:

Does anyone have suggestions of cheap items I can buy to get free shipping on my order as I don’t want to have to spend a minimum of $35 for free shipping.

With Carepass the gauze is 20% off and does ship free with Carepass https://www.cvs.com/shop/cvs-health-sterile-all-purpose-adhesive-pad-prodid-1011956

But this week the cleansing cloths produce a $2 ECB and they ship free with carepass.

https://www.cvs.com/shop/cvs-health-cleansing-cloths-prodid-346136

These are also my favorite to get free shipping with Carepass because often I get a $2 Feminine Care coupon to clip to my card and I pay less for them the 20% and the coupon, so be sure to check your CVS Coupons. Maybe sometimes it’s like $4 allergy medicine coupon or something like that you think you’re not going to use and they you realize it works on the $5xx box of CVS benadryl and it ships free with Carepass, so you can find cheap items that way too.

I like the deals that Care Pass offers each month. I currently pay $5.00 a month on a certain debit card. How do I change from using that debit card and using a different debit card from another bank?
